Kickoff with Drew McIntyre returning and making his way down to the ring. Drew says it feels good to back, and thanks all the fan for their get well wishes. He says he got so lucky with his symptoms, he was able to train by day four, and wants to dedicate his match this Sunday to everyone who is fighting this disease. Speaking of other things people are sick of, Bill Goldberg. Drew says he isn't going to look at Goldberg lightly, he destroyed Hogan, the Rock, and then came back years later to start a new streak which Drew vows to end this Sunday. Drew says he's pumped up when Miz and Morrison come out. Miz says Drew vs Goldberg will be the WWE equivalent of Kong vs Godzilla, but when there is a conflict of that magnitude, there are consequences. One or both of them could end up injured, and whoever wins will be a sitting duck for Miz and Morrison to beat the holy hell out of. Then Miz will cash in his Money in the Bank and be the new WWE Champion. Goldberg makes his way down to the ring, and simply tells Drew he's next. Miz and Morrison try to egg McIntyre and Goldberg on but the two of them grab Miz and Morrison throw them into the ring. Goldberg spears Miz, and Drew Claymores Morrison, before they go face to face again and Drew holds up the title.
Backstage Charlotte is interviewed about her upcoming match with Shayna Bazler, she says it's one thing to call yourself a queen it's another to be one. She says she'll be defending the tag titles, and entering the Rumble and is going to bet on herself to win the Rumble once again. She says her father hanging around with Lacey Evans is the darkest place Ric has ever been in.
After Charlotte is attacked by Nia Jax, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke run down to give her some back up against Nia and Shayna. Mandy and Dana are able to distract them but Lacey comes out and attacks Charlotte.
Mustafa Ali says the greatest moment in Kofi's life happened because of the worst moment in Ali's, Kofi took his spot at Elimination Chamber and stole his Wrestlemania opportunity.
Xavier Woods tries to escape after beating Slapjack but is cut off by T-Bar and thrown back into the ring where he and Mace double chokeslam Woods. Mace and T-Bar hold a dazed Woods while Slapjack gets a chair for Ali, Ali is about to hit Woods but stops and sits down. He says he is the king and like any good king he will show mercy, but he wants Woods to send a message to Kofi that his Royal Rumble spot has been forfeited, and he has been replaced by Mustafa Ali.
Riddle runs into R-Truth who says the Hurt Business have a birthday surprise for him in the VIP Lounge. Truth says they're gonna give him 24 karats, but mixes them up with carrots.
It's time for the VIP lounge with The Hurt Business. MVP says Bobby has something important he needs to bring to their attention, but first he tells Cedric and Shelton to focus on Riddle tonight. Bobby says sometimes you have to believe in someone else's belief in you. The Hurt Business is loaded with gold and this is just the beginning. Shelton starts to speak but he's cut off by Cedric who says the Hurt Business is on a roll thanks to MVP. Bobby says they wanted to give MVP a token of their appreciation, since they all have gold, they'll give MVP some gold of his own. MVP opens a box with a necklace that looks like one of MVP's classic medallions, but with THB instead. Cedric takes credit for working with the designer but Shelton cuts him off. R-Truth comes out and MVP is irate, asking why R-Truth is out there. Truth says he is there for the surprise party but MVP says he isn't on the list. Cedric tells Truth this has nothing to do with him, but Truth says the "THB" stands for Truth Happy Birthday. Shelton says this isn't the time and Truth wants to start a dance party. Lashley says he actually has a gift but it's in the ring. Truth is about to enter when a horde of wrestlers rush down to try and win the 24/7 Championship. Lashley takes care of them but Riddle is able to sneak into the ring and hit the Final Flash on MVP.
Backstage R-Truth says he wants to show he deserves an opportunity of getting in the Money in the Bank ladder match. AJ Styles and Omos come by and say he'd gladly give R-Truth a chance to prove himself because he's so benevolent. Truth that's cool that AJ is benevolent, he's a Capricorn and asks if Omos is a Taurus. He then talks about the time he and Road Dogg broke down their taurus on the way to a show.
After Morrison is defeated, Miz challenges Sheamus to face both him and Morrison in a handicap match right now and Sheamus agrees.
Shayna says she is going to through out everyone in the Royal Rumble just like she did to Mandy Rose last week, even her own tag partner. Nia takes offense to this and says she carries their team.
Jeff Jarrett is at his home and gives us his prediction as to who will win between Goldberg and Drew McIntyre. He says we'll see a spear, a jackhammer, and 1, 2, 3 a new WWE Champion.
Shanya and Nia are arguing backstage when Charly stops by to interview them. They admit they've never gotten along even when they were champions. Shayna figures with Charlotte being distracted by her father, now would be the perfect time to get a rematch for the titles.
Charlotte is interviewed, she says she has been accused of living off her last name, and now a woman is literally wearing her dad's robes and taking advantage of her dad's name. Charlotte says Lacey can wear the robe but she'll never take her crown.
Adam Pearce tells Ricochet if he wins against AJ Styles tonight he could earn a spot in the Royal Rumble. AJ and Omos come by and wonders who in their right mind would take advise from a coward like Adam Pearce who ran away from his match with Roman. At least Ricochet will lose with some dignity tonight. Ricochet AJ is forgetting what happened at TLC and that AJ will need more than a 7 foot giant to stop him tonight. AJ says he doesn't think he likes Adam Pearce anymore, and if he doesn't like him them Omos doesn't like him.
Backstage Ric Flair is teaching Lacey how to reverse out of some holds when Charlotte walks in on them. She tells Lacey to leave. Ric says just because Charlotte is a big star doesn't mean there's no place for for him in the lockeroom. Charlotte says this is the Ric that would spend money on everyone but his family and that this isn't cute anymore, he isn't a legend, he's becoming an old man. She says she isn't the bad guy and wants him to know that. As she leave Lacey hits her with the Woman's Right and woos as she walks off with Ric.
Alexa Bliss is in the middle of the ring singing the "how does your garden grow?" nursery rhyme and says she had so much fun last week. She talks to the empty swing and watches her burning Randy's face on an old TV. She then says she just wanted to have some fun with Asuka in her playground, but she mentioned him. She rewatches her victory over Asuka from last week and her mid-match transformation. She asks if we liked her trick and says he taught her that, and that she can't wait to see him again so she can thank him. Tonight she has the opportunity to win a shiny new toy, and just like last week she doesn't feel like playing nice. Alexa starts creepily singing ring around the rosey, then stares into the camera as images of The Fiend flash over her face, and finishes with Bray's voice saying let me in.
After the gauntlet match Bobby Lashley attacks Riddle from behind and locks in the Hurt Lock.
Edge says 2020 has taught him that you can't sleep on tomorrow, if you have a dream you gotta fight for it everyday because tomorrow is not guaranteed. Sometimes you just have to stand up and dust yourself off so you can keep walking forward. Ten years ago he went to sleep as the World Heavyweight Championship, a week later he had to forfeit that title and his career. Edge says he never can forget when he told his mom he wanted to be a wrestler and she told him to go do it. Those words are what allowed him to fight for nine years to get his dream back. At Backlash Randy Orton killed his triceps, and reminded him that everything you hold dear can be ripped away in a moment. You can't live in that space though, you gotta fight. He remembered what his mom said, and with that in mind he is entering the Royal Rumble. He says it won't be last year because the stakes are higher, he knows his window is closing and he has to use this as an opportunity to win back the title he never lost. Edge says he will fight with every fiber of his being to make this dream a reality. He says a world without dreamers and fighters is a much less magical place, and brings up a Henry Ford quote, "if you think you can, or think you can't, you're right." Edge says he can.
During Alexa vs Asuka, Alexa's music starts to play and Alexa appear back in her original form, visibly afraid and confused. Asuka rushes her but Alexa sends her into the turnbuckle. The lights in the Thunderdome go out, and a creepy music box plays, causing Alexa to turn into her dark form from last week. She locks in the Mandible Claw on Asuka but Randy Orton appears behind her to hit her with an RKO before Asuka can pass-out.
Top champions of 2020 ranked from worst to best according to Cagematch
The idea of the post is to see how well different title reigns were received taking into account the match ratings of each of their title defenses. I just considered the wrestlers that were the top champions in their respective promotion/brand and were in at least 3 title matches in 2020 (including the ones in which they won and lost their title) and had at least two matches rated by users on Cagematch. I added all the ratings of the matches and got an average rating taking also into account defenses that don't have a rating due to lack of votes, but not those that were under 5 minutes long since the site doesn't allow users to rate matches below that lenght. It may be unfair to consider matches that weren't rated so I'll put the average just counting the rated matches below the final score and list of defenses. Here's the final list, going from the worst rated champions to best: 25) Braun Strowman (WWE): 2.69
vs Goldberg (not rated for being under 5 minutes) title change
vs Bray Wyatt (3.64)
vs Morrison and The Miz (not enough votes for total rating)
vs Bray Wyatt/The Fiend (4.45) title change
*Average just counting rated matches: 4.09 24) Eddie Edwards (Impact): 4.24
vs Ace Austin vs Eric Young vs Rich Swann vs Trey (7.98) title change
vs Bryan Myers (6)
vs Sami Callihan (not enough votes for total rating)
The Firefly Fun House: a theory, part one— the Fun House Since my last post was met with a surprisingly positive response, I figured I’d start digging a little more into the world of Bray Wyatt and begin to peel back it’s many layers in order to better understand the story that Bray is trying to tell. And what better place to start than one of the biggest pieces of the mystery: the Firefly Fun House. What is the Firefly Fun House exactly? Well, the first thing we should attempt to figure out is whether it (the Fun House) exists in the physical world or if the Fun House itself is merely a supernatural projection of Wyatt/The Fiend’s creation. One would assume that, because we’ve seen on multiple occasions, “visitors” to the Fun House, that it must be a physical location, right? Not so fast. It’s important to remember exactly who—or what—we’re dealing with in the Fiend. Is it out of the realm of possibility that the Fiend, in kayfabe, is powerful enough to conjure up a supernatural “fun house”, a place that only exists as an abstract concept, to act as the engine that drives the story being told by Wyatt? Remember, we’re talking about a character that is nearly immune to pain, can appear and disappear at any given moment, and can literally be immolated and still survive. He’s a horror movie villain come to life. “But what of all the visitors to the fun house,”you ask? Well, before we answer that, let’s take a look at who thus far has appeared in the Fun House: Seth Rollins John Cena Braun Strowman Adam Pierce Alexa Bliss Of those 5 “guests”, 3 of them were involved in feuds with The Fiend: Rollins, Strowman, and Cena. Let’s focus on those 3 first. Rollins first appeared in the Fun House by attacking Wyatt and lighting the Fun House on fire. This was all during the build up to the much maligned Hell in a Cell match at the PPV of the same name. Seth would go on to defeat the Fiend after a controversial (and confusing) referee stoppage after Rollins went berserk and crushed the Fiend’s skull in with a sledgehammer. But the ending of the match saw the Fiend rise from the stretcher to lay Seth out with a mandible claw to end the show. Seth Rollins sets the Fun House ablaze Rollins vs The Fiend, Hell in a Cell highlights But what’s important to note is that there is a common thread throughout these encounters with the Fiend: all three superstars would go on to turn heel after feuding with him, except for Cena, who would just “disappear”, albeit after going heel mode and trying to lay Wyatt out with a chair in a replay of their WM30 moment. See what I’m getting at here? Looking back at Seth, his face run had grown stale. Fans were losing interest, and you could see the signs of a possible heel turn in the near future. He had just come off a win at Clash of Champions against Braun Strowman, who we’ll look at shortly. For Rollins, you could tell his confidence was wavering, and there was definitely fear building in him with every ambush. Rollins and Wyatt segment, RAW, 09.16.2019 I believe the psychological tactics played by The Fiend are with the intent of breaking his opponents, in which they then let him in, which often results in them committing some unspeakable act of violence, turning them heel in the process. In the case of Rollins, it was literally crushing the Fiend’s skull in with various weapons, including a sledgehammer and toolbox. Now, IMO, the red light used during the match I believe is telling us that it is to be viewed as more “cinematic” and, in the case of Hell in a Cell, also used for practical purposes, especially for the finish. But I don’t believe what we were watching was necessarily supposed to be viewed from the perspective of “a wrestling match”, as much as it is to portray the idea of it being “cinematic”. When you view the match through that lens, it’s actually pretty good and I would suggest watching the whole thing again if you have the network. Seth was fearful of failure and losing the title after barely beating Braun Strowman with 4 curb stomps and a pedigree. This is what would play out in the Cell, with nothing in Rollins arsenal working against the Fiend. He no sold every move Rollins threw at him. It was he who was testing the lengths in which Rollins would go in order to keep his championship. He obviously went to pretty extreme lengths, but again, in the ended with Rollins laid out, coughing up blood. It’s said that an encounter with the Fiend changes you. In this case, Rollins would go on a losing streak after losing the UC to Wyatt at Super Showdown, eventually turning heel and calling himself the “Monday Night Messiah” and, if we’re being honest, doing some pretty f**ked up stuff... like gouging Rey Mysterio’s eye out with the steel ring steps. So, while Rollins won, so did the Fiend. Rollins had to “let him in” to beat the Fiend and he did. He did when he entered the fun house and lit it on fire. It was Rollins burning it all down, making a deal with the devil to get to Wyatt, but ended up losing himself to the Fiend’s evil. Wyatt would go on to hold the Universal Championship for 118 days until eventually dropping it to Goldberg at Super Showdown in what proved to be a controversial decision, although one I completely agree with, but that’s a discussion for another post, perhaps. This would lead him to a Wrestlemania feud with John Cena, who was making his return just to tell the WWE Universe he was stepping aside and not taking a match on the upcoming Wrestlemania card. This drew out the Fiend, who would go on to challenge John Cena to a “Firefly Fun House Match” at WM 36. Cena encounters the Fiend on SD Because this was a special appearance and not a full-fledged return for Cena, this is an interesting case. Cena is notorious amongst the IWC for being the ultimate company guy; the guy who was shoved down our throats for over a decade as the next big mainstream star. With that level of success, there comes a certain perception that these individuals use their influence to “bury” other talent, and Cena has (sometimes unfairly) been accused of this. This is what a lot of the feud was centered around, going back to WM30, where Cena beat Wyatt in a match many believed Wyatt needed to win in order to cement his status as a star. Many also point this moment as the beginning of the end for the Wyatt character, as he struggled to gain footing after losing such a high profile feud, which would also end with Wyatt literally being buried under equipment at Payback. The buildup leading to this match at Wrestlemania, however, we caught a real glimpse at what the Firefly Fun House really is. During an in-ring, sit down interview with Michael Cole, Cena would go on to blame Wyatt for being a failure, calling him the most “overhyped, overvalued, over privileged WWE superstar in existence”, leading to Wyatt coming out and confronting Cena with what I believe to be one of the finest promos he’s delivered in his career. Wyatt crashes Cena’s interview on SD: 03.13.2020 Here’s what Wyatt said in the promo: “....but you do have me all wrong John. You see, I’m not sick; you are. I know why you came here, John, and I know why you can’t say no. You don’t really think that we think that you care about the future, do we? I mean, John Cena cares about John Cena, right? And it doesn’t matter who he has to smash or bury along the way, as long as he gets his spotlight! 6 years ago, at Wrestlemania, you... you took something from me. And I thought about it—a LOT— matter a fact, I thought about it so much, that I wanted to take my hands and push them into my skull and smash my brain into a million pieces just so that I could have 5 seconds of piece without the voices talking to me but the voices they never stopped. And then something magical happened. One day I stopped fighting the voices and I started listening to them. And they took my crooked little world, and they turned it into a majestic fun house! You broke me John, but the Fiend... he put me back together. And at Wrestlemania, it’s going to be a slaughter... you just don’t know it yet. Let me in, John.” And finally, that brings us to Cena finally entering the Fun House, which I believe happened on the go-home edition of SD before Wrestlemania. In the clip, Cena is cutting a promo about how he didn’t want the match, how Wyatt did, how he’s so brave and selfless and was actually gonna step aside, until the puppets appear at ringside. Cena enters the Firefly Fun House: 03.27.2020 This is the moment I believe Cena enters the Fiend’s metaphysical world. The puppets begin to tell Cena that he’s going to play with them “forever”, and then announce the arrival of him. The Fiend appears on the balcony, looking down on Cena. This results in a surprisingly long stare down with a jump scare ending where Funhouse Bray appears behind Cena and says “LET ME IN” as the lights go out. When they come back, everyone is gone except for Cena in the ring, alone and shaken. The match itself was heavily cinematic, taking a journey through the psyche of John Cena, as we watch the Fiend psychologically torture John Cena, eventually leading to the Fiend pinning John Cena in a ring while Wyatt makes the count and ends with Cena disappearing. Which, if you were paying attention, was exactly what Wyatt claimed Cena feared: fading from the spotlight. Bray Wyatt vs John Cena, Firefly Fun House match Hightlights, 04.05.2020 After winning the title from the Fiend, Goldberg would go on to eventually lose the title to Braun Strowman, who replaced Roman Reigns due to Roman not competing due to his battle with leukemia and the risk of performing during the COVID pandemic. Strowman would then enter a feud with The Fiend, who would pray on the vulnerability of the more recently “humanized” monster among men. Braun is ready to “let him in” Braun was fearful of his past. Wyatt was trying to remind Strowman of the monster he truly was, and bring him back into the family. This, I theorize, is the reason Braun was confronted by Funhouse Bray initially, because he cared about Braun. When Braun denied him, The Fiend used psychological attacks to lead Braun back to “the swamp”, by bringing back the “Eater of Worlds” Wyatt, and again, this match was highly cinematic. We were watching someone’s inner psyche, letting him in, and in this case, Braun being lead back to his past, back to the barbaric nature of the “monster”, which is exactly what happened. The Fiend used manipulation tactics and mind games to lead Braun back to his past, using his affection for Alexa, and then, as Strowman believed to have rid himself of Wyatt, he emerged from the water and drug him into “the swamp”, and in turn, buried Strowman’s human side, which is why, when he came back, he had developed a considerable mean streak and stopped at nothing to try and get his hands on the Fiend again. Braun Strowman vs Bray Wyatt, Swamp Match highlights, Extreme Rules, 07.19.2020 Braun’s appearance in the Fun House saw him viciously beat Fun House Bray. Again, when we view the fun house as an idea, a concept, the fact that Braun came unhinged in the fun house was merely the physical represention of Braun allowing him in and embracing the monster he was meant to be. This is confirmed by Wyatt’s comment before being attacked; “what took you so long?” meaning, what took him so long to embrace the entity of evil that consumes Wyatt. Braun attacks Bray in the Fun House This is also where Alexa Bliss comes into the picture. Alexa Bliss caught in the crossfire Alexa Bliss consumed by the Fiend Alexa Bliss was consumed by the Fiend because of what she was going through. For both Bray and Bliss, it was a feeling of abandonment and loneliness, which I believe is why Bliss was “chosen” to be “healed” by Wyatt. She accepted this evil entity to consume her much in the way it did Wyatt, as her anger and feelings of abandonment from Nikki Cross and Braun Strowman lead her to becoming another vessel for the Fiend, a mouthpiece, since I believe The Fiend will take a more permanent presence after the end of TLC and given that he doesn’t seem to talk much, Bliss will play as a perfect mouthpiece for the “new” Fiend. Now he wants to play. Play, as in “playground”. Alexa’s playground. Which I could easily see taking the place of “A Moment of Bliss” segments to serve as a way to reintroduce the new version of the Fiend. She did say, after all, that he might come to her Playground, which, due to the cinematic element of it all, suggests that this is meant to be viewed through the same lens as you would any other piece of cinema. Bray Wyatt is creating exactly that: live cinema. Wyatt is a big fan of horror, and the Fiend, IMO, is meant to be viewed as more of its own entity, and the world that is the “Firefly Fun House” is a supernatural projection into the mind of Bray Wyatt; now that the Fiend has been laid to rest in what I would assume is probably hell, I’m curious to see whether or not Alexa’s Playground will take the place of the Firefly Fun House for a while, or if Funhouse Bray was unaffected; although, I have a feeling that Funhouse Bray will be gone for a while. It’s likely that we’re going to be seeing and hearing a lot more Alexa Bliss and her “Alexa’s Playground” segments. Alexa’s Playground segment, RAW, 12.21.2020 As for Pearce? Simple. The Fiend has shown the ability to merge realities, to project the psyche’s of those he inhabits into our physical world, as we’ve seen recently with superstars like Matt Riddle and R-Truth interacting with puppets like Huskus and Ramblin’ Rabbit. But these puppets weren’t always visible to those in our world. There were multiple times puppets could be found in random backstage cutscenes, as superstars and commentators were seemingly oblivious to the fact. When Wyatt or Bliss enters the Fun House, I don’t believe they do so physically; the reason for this is based around Nikki Cross’ interaction with Alexa Bliss, who was revealed to be assumedly possessed by the Fiend. Alexa Bliss is possessed by the Fiend, RAW, 11.02.2020 Because Nikki was approaching Alexa while possessed by the Fiend, she was not able to break through to her. I believe the reason Pearce was able to communicate with Wyatt is because he appealed to him by speaking to Wyatt in “character”, which is why McMahon gave Pearce the postman’s outfit before he left to seek out Wyatt to sign the contract. When we saw Pearce “arrive” in the Fun House, I believe it was more projection, and what we were seeing was nothing more than delusions within the mind of Wyatt being projected by The Fiend. McMahon orders Pearce to seek out Bray Wyatt, SD, 08.28.2020 “Postman” Pearce “arrives” at the Fun House, SD, 08.28.2020 So, coming full circle, is the Firefly Fun House “real”? In short, I believe the answer is “no”. I believe that the Fun House is nothing more than an abstract idea, a place that only exists in spirit (unless he decides otherwise), a place where Wyatt (and now Bliss) can mentally escape to, a “safe space” where their pain and emotions are transformed and manifest as friendly puppets, meant to be viewed through a cinematic lens. I also theorize that certain superstars were able to “visit” the FFH because he saw the potential for evil, the vulnerability, doubt —fear— and took special interest to bring them to his world. Their appearance in the fun house is merely a supernatural projection into the broken psyche of Bray Wyatt, symbolic of opponents letting him in, which in turn brings them into his fm, the evil that inhabits the vessel Bray Wyatt, exposing their innermost fears in the form of a “match”, usually cinematic (in Seth’s case, a Cell cloaked in red light; cinematic in its own right), that ends with the Fiend standing tall, the fears of his opponents manifesting themselves, signifying a change in character for those who have “let him in”.

Impact Wrestling Knockouts Gauntlet match (Slammiversary)
Due to the pandemic, we've seen quite a lot of big matches get cancelled or postponed on pretty much every wrestling promotion. Here's a look back at the biggest matches that got scrapped this year, its ripple effects plus speculation on how different things would be if the matches went ahead. Roman Reigns vs Goldberg (WWE Wrestlemania): This is a big one. After Goldberg beat The Fiend for the Universal Championship on Super Showdown, Roman Reigns immediately challenged him to a match for Wrestlemania. Roman decided to sit out the pandemic due to safety concerns and was replaced by Braun Strowman without any build up or explanation. Braun beat Goldberg for the title in a quick match and had quite a lacklustre reign. One wonders if we would have a heel Tribal Chief Reigns today if this match would have happened. He would surely have won and the crowd would most probably shit on the match because of Fiend dropping the title and another Reigns vs part timer main event. Reigns would probably have had Braun's trajectory and feud with Wyatt and other SD heels in the months after Wrestlemania. Another technically "cancelled" match on Wrestlemania was the triple threat ladder match between Usos, New Day and Miz/Morrison. After Miz got sick, it got changed to a triple threat match between Jimmy Uso, Kofi and John Morrison. Miz/Morrison retained. 100% would have been the same result if the match went as planned. Also worth noting that Fiend vs Cena and Undertaker vs Aj Styles would have been normal 1 on 1 matches. Inner Circle vs The Elite Blood and Guts match (AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts): Inner Circle and The Elite were set to collide in an old school War Games match on a special episode of AEW Dynamite. The match got postponed and AEW moved their tapings to closed sets in Daily's Place Jacksonville. Inner Circle and The Elite eventually had their big blowoff match in Double Or Nothing in a Stadium Stampede match with the major difference (aside from the match type) being Cody not being involved in the feud and the addition of Matt Hardy instead. If this match went ahead I think the result would be the same with The Elite winning. Matt Hardy would also probably still be in the match replacing the injured Nick Jackson. Since the cancellation of the match, Cody has had zero interaction with The Elite and has been exclusively involved in TNT title scene and been backed up by Nightmare Family. Could it be that this match would have shown us a more natural progression of his disassociation with The Elite? Double Or Nothing card would also be drastically different. Kenny andHangman would have a title defence and Jericho would have a big match. I'm guessing it would either have been against Orange Cassidy, starting this feud earlier or Jungle Boy. Jericho did say that his feud with Jungle Boy got postponed due to COVID and Meltzer also said they were holding off till crowds come back to give Jungle Boy a big push. Other matches that got cancelled were Lucha Bros vs Best Friends in a parking lot brawl and Luchasaurus vs Wardlow Lumberjack match. Best Friends eventually had a parking lot brawl with Proud & Powerful months later which they won and Luchasarus vs Wardlow happened at a later date. I think Lucha Bros would have won this match because Death Triangle was just established and they needed to look strong. Elite Deletion - Matt Hardy vs Chris Jericho (AEW): This is a weird one. Broken Matt invited Chris "hole of the arse" Jericho to the Hardy Compound and that invitation was never talked about ever again. Since the Stadium Stampede Matt Hardy's been feuding with a different Inner Circle member which is somehow still going on to this day. Jericho recently said he never wants to do a match with Matt Hardy on AEW, oh and also Matt has dropped his broken gimmick. Safe to say this one is completely dead. Shame, I for one think it would have been absolutely hilarious, Jon Moxley vs Josh Barnett (Bloodsport)/Jon Moxley vs David Starr (PROGRESS)/Jon Moxley vs Zack Sabre Jr (NJPW): Sigh, poor Mox. Just this week he worked Bloodsport against Chris Dickinson and will eventually have his match against Barnett. The David Starr match is never happening for obvious reasons(fuck that prick), and the ZSJ match looks dead for now with KENTA being the #1 contender for the US title. Moxley would have won all these matches, he was not gonna lose to anyone while being the AEW World Champion. Tetsuya Naito vs Hiromu Takahashi (NJPW Anniversary): The traditional IWGP Heavyweight vs IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champions match would have seen the collision of two LIJ teammates. The match that I'm most bummed out about. Naito would obviously win and it would have been a fantastic match. New Japan Cup 2020 (NJPW): Look a how different the brackets were https://cdn.sescoops.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/njcup-2020.png I really doubt EVIL would have won like he did after NJPW got restarted. My guess is EVIL would have beaten Naito at Dominion and Naito would have gotten his win back on Wrestle Dynasty at Madison Square Garden. I think Jay White vs SANADA would have been the final and I could see either of them winning. ROH Supercard Of HonoROH Anniversary: Really sad that when it looked like the company was gonna bounce back after a dismal 2019, everything went to shit. Big matches included Jay White vs Marty Scurll, Ryu Lee vs Bandido for the TV title, RUSH vs Mark Haskins for the ROH title etc. I don't think we will ever see Jay vs Marty because of Marty's allegations. Feel free to discuss, talk about other matches and add your own speculations. I don't really follow stuff like Stardom, Impact, NWA, GCW, Joey Janela's Spring Break etc but I know they all cancelled stuff.

2021 Carnage Tour Night Two - Booking Royal Rumble 2021 (Part 2)
Coming off of the Alexa Bliss and Asuka confrontation, we hear the theme song to the Firefly Funhouse, and you know what’s coming next... ”The Fiend” Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton - Firefly Funhouse Match This feud goes all the way back to November when these two first clashed, and now it culminates. The entire build up until TLC stays the same, and the TLC match also stays identical. That buzz was exactly what Raw needed after the record low ratings. After TLC again, we keep the segment of Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss interacting. Alexa is on the swing set and tells Randy what if The Fiend ever comes back again, he will give Randy something he’s never seen before. Then the week following Randy doesn’t turn up in the Funhouse, but instead we just have the confrontation between them where Bliss tries to make Randy burn her so she can be be with Bray again. However when Orton doesn’t, Bliss laughs, and said they’ll still all go down together. They’ll be in a whole new playground this time. On Legends Night then, Orton makes a point of trying to murder every legend he can find. Big Show, Mark Henry, and then lastly Goldberg. After the Goldberg attack, Bliss appears in the ring on her swing set magically. “You must burn the past, or else we’ll do it for you.” The lights then go out and we hear Bliss scream. They come back on, and in place of her swing set is a rocking chair. Week following, it turns out Randy Orton has kidnapped Alexa, and she has lead him to the funhouse. This is because I don’t like how wrestlers just know where the funhouse is even though it’s location has never been stated. Randy demands her to tell him where Bray is. This is because Alexa keeps saying “we will” implying Bray isn’t gone. He then starts to rip apart the puppets until she confesses. She takes a deep breath, and then giggles. “He never left. He wasn’t going to go down to you. You’re going down with him.” Alexa then disappears after the lights cut. Week after Randy is in the ring cutting an angry promo, saying that Bray can run but can’t hide. He will find him and he will once and for all end him. Then, Alexa Bliss’ music hits. She appears in the corner, staring at Randy. They lock eyes in silence. Bliss then throws a fireball at his face. Randy writhes on the ground in agony of the burns. Bliss then places a sheep mask over his face. Then it’s the final week before Royal Rumble, and he’s practically got a deathwish with how much he wants to fight The Fiend. But this is The Fiend like never before seen. Randy doesn’t care, and wants him. He appears in the funhouse and cuts a promo from there, with a big bucket of lighter fluid. He threatens to set the place ablaze, but hesitates. “Nah. I’ll do it another way. Royal Rumble, I want to fight The Fiend - in a Firefly Funhouse Match.” In ring Alexa is on her swing, and agrees to it on Bray’s behalf. Now, for the show. We start with Bray Wyatt on screen, but funhouse Bray, not The Fiend. His scars seem to have healed from being burned alive, and he doesn’t mention that he was nearly killed. Bray waves to the audience and they all cheer, as if nothing ever happened. He tells Randy that tonight he is going to have more fun that he’s ever had before. So much fun he’ll never, ever, ever want it to stop. He then laughs and says “John visited us last time, and he had so much fun he never wanted to leave! So - he never did.” On the last part he goes sinister, before his bipolar happy side kicks in and he smiles and laughs again. He then waves and tells Randy “buh bye! Enjoy your stay!” He then gets one last word in. “I almost forgot! Don’t forget, we left you a present, don’t forget to open it!” We then see Randy walk out in a empty ThunderDome, completely dark, with wisps of smoke floating around the ground, guiding him towards the ring. In the centre of the ring then is a gym bag, zipped up. Randy presumes his present is inside this, and hesitatingly crouches down to zip it open. Then, a snake puppet pops out of the bag. Randy stumbles back, and the puppet introduces itself as Cobra Keith. Randy looks at it confused. He leans down to touch it, and then his finger is burned. All of a sudden, Bray Wyatt appears behind him. Randy is shocked Bray is there, but Wyatt gives no such reaction. Just like nothing ever happened. He confiscates some matches from Cobra Keith; “Don’t play with fire kids!” he laughs. He then talks to Cobra Keith, saying every time he’s close to getting what he wants, he sheds his skin, and puts on a new, happy face. He tells Orton that Keith hurt him, just like Randy hurt Bray. He now has the chance to apologise, or else. Orton refuses in a fluster, and appearing behind him is Alexa Bliss. She drags a finger down his neck, and tells him “I put a spell on you.” The lights then go out, and we hear the interruption sound of Bray’s old theme song. Then when they come back on no one is in the ring. Then from the stage, we hear Burn In My Light, the old theme song of Randy Orton. Then in blue trunks, with a tribal pattern around the waist, out walks 04’ Randy Orton. He does his old pose, and pyro shoots from the ring posts as he does. Then in the ring is Bray Wyatt with the World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder, representing Chris Benoit. We see footage of commentary team from the night of SummerSlam 2004, talking about Randy Orton. Orton RKO’s Bray and then covers - 1.............2..........lights go out. They return, and in the ring is Bray Wyatt, with Randy on his shoulders, and a Puppet version of Triple H in the corner. Randy is confused as he’s celebrating on Bray’s shoulders, like when he won the World Heavyweight Championship, except he has no title belt and never got the full pinfall. Wyatt then drops Randy down, and Puppet H laughs. “You couldn’t win a world title, how pathetic of you.” Randy is dazed, and then the lights cut out again. When they come back, he’s laying in a coffin. He then sees Bray, representing The Undertaker. He closes the coffin, but before he does he looks to his side to see in the coffin with him is his dad, Bob Orton Jr. He jumps, and then sees that he is wearing a sheep mask. The coffin closes and Randy yells out “noooooo” with it. Once the lights are back, Randy is in the ring again on the floor and clutching his head. He shouts out for it to end and make it stop. He hears Alexa’s giggling as he rolls on the mat. Bray then appears in the ring again and laughs, and now in there is a title to represent every single world title he’s ever held. They are circled around the pair. On the titantron then appears the old cult leader Bray Wyatt, who does his signature “look up from the lamp to the camera” before telling Randy what the titles mean, and that “You took years off my career when you humiliated me at WrestleMania. Now, I’m returning the favour.” Then, all the titles are set on fire, and Randy is now standing in the middle of a ring of fire. They all burn to a crisp, and he starts hearing Alexa’s giggling again. He falls to the mat, clutching his head in pain again. The fire is quenched however, and Randy looks up from the ground. He then sees cult leader Bray looking over him. “We used to be brothers. I saved you, and you turned your back on me. You left me for dead.” He shouts with anger. The cameras then start chopping in between The Fiend and old Bray. They cut in a way we see old Bray laughing, while slowly The Fiend starts to apply The Mandible Claw. Randy is about to fade, when suddenly Alexa Bliss walks in with a torch. “You burned Abigail. You burned the empire that we built. Now you’re coming down with us.” She says and throws the torch into the ring, igniting it into flames, the pair going down in the ashes. Alexa watches them burn, and then giggles. “Let Me In.” ”The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defeats Randy Orton (15:32) After that, we see Kayla Braxton looking confused at the camera with a mic in hand. “I have no idea what we just witnessed.” She says. Then, in runs R-Truth, followed by a hoard of jobbers gunning after his 24/7 Championship. They run around the ring, until suddenly we hear Retribution’s music! They come out, and Mustafa Ali calls them all jokes, who should be annoyed at their position on the card, the spot they’re put in by this wretched company. R-Truth asks if they’re like the cops, and tells him that he pays his 15% so it’s all cool. T-Bar then demolishes Truth, and covers him to win the 24/7 Championship. They then walk off with this new piece of gold. Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Keith Lee - WWE Championship Drew McIntyre has had a pretty fantastic 2020, and I honestly wouldn’t change much at all about his second reign with the WWE Championship. However, Keith Lee’s trajectory is much different, and so we’ll touch upon what he’s been doing up until this point. Firstly, he ditches his singlet and brings back his old theme song - those just need to happen. Secondly, we need to talk about The Hurt Business. Despite winning the Raw Tag Team Championships, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin don’t see eye to eye. They lost a tag team match due to their lack of chemistry. Shelton believes Cedric is a rookie who’s out of control because of the new power he’s got, and that he has a veteran needs to discipline this boy. Cedric finds he’s been talking down to and takes offence. MVP still maintains control amongst them. Bobby Lashley meanwhile is set to defend his United States Championship against Matt Riddle on January 11th Raw after Matt Riddle pinned him on Legends Night. We see in the go home week and the show itself, Keith Lee wishing good luck to his good friend Matt Riddle. MVP sees Lee as a threat to the group, and on the night before the match, he offers Lee a spot in The Hurt Business. Lee denies it and insults them, saying that he doesn’t want to associate with people who fight dirty yet still can’t make it to the world title. Lashley then gets angry and tells Lee, “I’d like to see you try and get to that spot.” Keith takes the challenge, and says “just watch me.” Later in the night, Keith Lee confronts Drew McIntyre during the champions promo. Drew says he was endorsed by Hulk Hogan himself, he just has that star quality within him. Lee on the other hand, he’s unsure. Lee responds saying that the only reason Drew held onto the belt was because Keith Lee wasn’t around. Now he is, he won’t keep holding it. McIntyre admires his confidence and grants him a #1 Contenders match for next week. Adam Pearce announces that the other participant will be, AJ Styles. In the match we see Lee and Omos have a moment, Styles using his speed and agility against Lee’s sheer size and power, until the ending where Lee catches a Phenomenal Forearm into a Spirit Bomb for the win. Afterwards he’s attacked by The Hurt Business. Drew comes out and clears the ring, and the two men soon to face stand tall together. It’s announced via WWE’s Twitter soon after that The Hurt Business are banned from ringside during the match. After the video package following Lee’s journey to get here. Lee states every obstacle put in his way wasn’t jumped, but broken - because he is limitless. The match begins and immediately they go at it. There’s no stalling here. Drew applies a Full Nelson and holds it in, trying to wear down as much as possible on the fellow big man. Lee gets out eventually and hits a big splash onto Drew, 1..........2........Kick Out! Lee then applies in a resthold, and tries to wear down on Drew. He looks for an Abdominal Stretch, but then fights down to go after the leg of McIntyre. DREW THEN HITS A MONKEY FLIP TO TAKE LEE OFF HIM!! Lee gets up after the fall, a bit stunned by that sudden move. Drew then runs for his, but runs directly into a OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX BY KEITH LEE!! Lee pounds his chest and punches the air, ready for a fight and looking for more. The champion then gets up after that impact and opens his arms, asking Lee to bring all he’s got. They both then run into each other and double down with clotheslines. Lee is first back up and starts to work Drew over with chops. Lee then lifts him up for a SNAP SUPLEX! Lee continues the beat down with stomps, until he lifts Drew up for the BIG BANG CATASTROPHE!! HE HITS IT!!! 1..........KICK OUT!! MCINTYRE KICKS OUT OF LEE’S FABLED FINISHER AT ONE!! Drew gets up from the mat, clutching his neck and looking wide eyed and angry. DREW THEN HITS LEE WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP!! Drew then works him in the corner. When Lee goes to reverse, McIntyre lifts him up for the INVERTED ALABAMA SLAM!! 1..............2...........KICK OUT!!! Lee rolls outside and Drew follows suit. They fight on the announce table, trading punches until Lee falls to one knee. Drew then lays him across it and stands over him on the other. He looks around, ONLY FOR LEE TO POP UP!! HE PUSHES DREW OFF!! HE THEN SPEARS DREW INTO THE BARRICADE!! Lee drags McIntyre back inside and calls for a Spirit Bomb! LEE MANAGES TO LIFT DREW UP!!! HE WALKS AROUND THE RING WITH THE BIG MAN ON HIS SHOULDERS!! DROPS HIM DOWN!!! 1..............KICK OUT!! Both men start pounding the mat, and then both kneel up in sync and roar at each other. Drew calls for a Claymore, BUT MISSES!! GERMAN SUPLEX BY LEE!! He heads to the top ropes and calls for a MOONSAULT!! HE CONNECTS!! Lee then starts to clap his hands and lifts McIntyre up. Lee shouts at him “it’s my time now, Drew. Give up, you ain’t going to last longer. Because I am limitless. BASK IN MY GLORY.” he says and does the taunt, ONLY TO BE HIT BY A CLAYMORE FROM DREW!! THE CLAYMORE!!! 1.......................2..................HE KICKS OUT!! HE KICKED OUT OF THE CLAYMORE!!! Drew’s eyes look to pop out their sockets in the sheer and utter disbelief. Hardly anyone has kicked out of the Claymore, but this isn’t your typical man. Both men stand up and look at each other, like they’re hunters tasked with taking down their largest prey who just won’t die. Drew then gets some shots in and takes Keith down. They fight to the corner and Drew knocks Lee away, then dives with a DIVING CLOTHESLINE!!! He goes for a TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!! LEE REVERSES OUT OF IT!! HE THEN HITS A STANDING MOONSAULT!! Lee takes Drew to the corner and lifts him up to the top rope. He climbs up behind and looks to hit an AVALANCHE SPIRIT BOMB!! SURELY THE ONE TO END IT ALL!! He lays in punches to wear Drew down, and MANAGES TO PICK HIM UP!! MCINTYRE FIGHTS OUT!! He then falls into tree of woe position. Lee tries to pick him back up, BUT DREW SWINGS UP INTO A SUPERPLEX TOSS!! DREW THEN HITS THE CLAYMORE FROM THE CORNER!! 1..................2...............3!!!!!!! DREW MCINTYRE RETAINS HIS WWE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!! Drew McIntyre defeats Keith Lee (13:28) Drew celebrates with his title, and then heads to the back. Lee is left in the ring. He gets up and looks around, and as he steps through the ropes HE’S ATTACKED BY THE HURT BUSINESS!! LASHLEY HITS HIM WITH A SPEAR!! They then all stand tall over Lee, and pose to the hard camera. Afterwards we get an interview of The New Day and Charly Caruso. The New Day cannot put into words how happy they are to be together again, and how great it is the band are back together. Kofi is still injured however, and when asked if he can compete he says he doesn’t know, but has all the faith in the world that Xavier or E can pull off the win. Big E then says that this win would be the biggest thing to ever happen to him, and that he he wants it so badly. Woods then points out he has the Intercontinental Championship already, and that he would benefit more from it. E then says he was one half of the Raw Tag Team Champions, but before they get into an argument Kofi takes them away. We see Keith Lee go to Adam Pearce, demanding he be put into the Royal Rumble. Pearce doesn’t know what to say, he’s sorry but it’s all full. Lee then sees Kalisto walking backstage, and then beans him. “He’s out - got a free slot now. Give it to me.” Pearce then tells him okay, but it’s only fair that he has to enter at number one. Lee doesn’t care as long as he’s in it, and then walks off. We end on the video package for the Royal Rumble match itself, which we will see in the next part.
Wow, isn't it crazy that when the belt isn't on Brock all year, the Universal title can actually be somewhat decent? 2020 was certainly the best year for the big colorful, but by no means was it a perfect year, plagued with bad booking decisions going into the year, the Bray Wyatt was eventually going to lose the title and to an extent his steam, but to Goldberg? I hate wrestling sometimes I'll tell you. Anyways, I took the liberty of tweaking the titles run to make it somewhat better, but not changing everything, as somethings I actually liked, mainly the bit at the end with Roman Reigns. So without further ado, here is my mf booking. Build to Royal Rumble- I would keep the build to this match the same. Bryan gets his hair ripped out and gets angry at the Fiend for retreating leading to a strap match between the two. Royal Rumble- The strap match was a classic, so naturally, I will keep that the same as well. Bryan has his moments where he looks like he could win, but ultimately the Fiend’s power is too overwhelming. Build to Super ShowDown- Ok, so I guess the build to this will be that Oldberg wants to defeat the unstoppable, proving himself once again to be a dominant monster. Super ShowDown- The Fiend wins in a squash match and Goldberg pissing retires. Build to Elimination Chamber- The Miz and Daniel Bryan wrestle a number one contender’s match which eventually ends when SmackDown goes off air. The next week, we learned that due to filming conflicts with 205 Live, the match had to be called off early. As a result, both men are granted a Universal title match at Elimination Chamber. Elimination Chamber- This match sees Miz and Bryan face off against Funhouse Bray. Miz and Bryan work together to take Wyatt out of the picture, and eventually, Miz wins via roll up on Bryan. But wait, why take the title off the Fiend? It’s simple, Bray doesn’t need the title, and the Firefly Funhouse doesn’t need the title. The championship wouldn’t feel like a big deal. Build to WrestleMania- As Miz celebrates his win, John Morrison reminds him that Miz promised him the first shot at his title. Miz is very reluctant, refusing to give Morrison the title shot unless he beats a series of opponents, which he does. WrestleMania- John Morrison as a world champion is all I’ve ever wanted, but now is not the time or the place. Therefore, after a hard fought battle and a ref bump that sees Miz low blow Morrison and hit the Skull Crushing Finale, Miz retains the title. Build to Money in the Bank- Morrison lobbies for another title match, as he feels he was cheated out of winning the Universal title (yeah I started a feud at Mania, cry about it!) Miz does not want to give Morrison another match, and pits him against Braun Strowman. Strowman beats Morrison and he is announced as the number one contender to the surprise of Miz. “BuT wHaT aBouT tHe FeuD wiTh MorRisOn?!?” Shut up and let me tell the story, it’s long term friccing booking. Money in the Bank- Strowman dominates his match against Miz, and it looks like we’ll have a new champion. Right as Strowman is about to hit a running powerslam, the lights go out and the Fiend appears. The Fiend attacks Braun Strowman, starting a feud between those two. Build to Backlash- With SmackDown wanting to outdo Raw in terms of match quality at Backlash, Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles are put in a number one contender’s match, which is won by Bryan. Bryan goes on to say that he owes Miz some receipts for what he said about Bryan while he was still retired. Backlash- Bryan and Miz have a classic match, with Miz playing the cowardly heel and Bryan playing the plucky baby face. At the end, Bryan sets up for a running knee, but he runs into a superkick, but not by the Miz. John Morrison was the man behind the kick, causing the ref to throw out the match. Build to the Horror Show at Extreme Rules- John Morrison explains that Miz said the only way he would be getting close to the Universal Championship was if he helped him win the match. Miz comes out and tells Morrison he lost by DQ, so Morrison will not be receiving a title match. A compromise is set by Adam Pearce, who says there will be a match at SummerSlam, Miz vs Bryan in a ladder match for the Universal Championship. If John Morrison can defeat Miz in a non title falls count anywhere match (a call back to Morrison’s final match in his 2011 run in the company,) Morrison will be added to the ladder match. The Horror Show at Extreme Rules- Morrison and the Miz year the house down, with callbacks to the last falls count anywhere match the two had like Morrison jumping off of a fixture of the stage. Morrison wins after hitting a starship pain with a chair onto Miz. Morrison picks up the win and will be added to the ladder match. Build to SummerSlam- Miz, Morrison and Bryan all make their intentions known. Miz wants to retain his title by any means necessary because being champ means a better life for his kids (what a heel,) Morrison wants to give Miz what he deserves and take his title from him, and Bryan now believes he owes Miz and Morrison receipts after Backlash. Morrison and Bryan have a match with Miz as special guest referee which ends in a double count out after Miz makes the ten count in less than 2 seconds. SummerSlam- I was originally going to give Morrison the championship here, but then I realized this was the night a certain big dog returned. So Morrison’s title run will need to wait until later, but I promise it’s coming. Instead, after a match filled with carnage which sees Morrison hit starship pain off a ladder onto the Miz, Daniel Bryan is the one who wins the ladder match. Reigns comes out after the match and spears everyone out of their boots. Build to Payback- The Miz and Roman Reigns are announced to face Bryan at Payback for the title. That is all, this show only has a week of build. Payback- Miz and Bryan start the match and wrestle for about 15 minutes. When both men are exhausted, Reigns comes out, hits a spear in both men, and pins Bryan clean in the ring. Bryan losing the title has one crucial point to it that the Fiend didn’t have. The fans won’t rage because a supernatural deity lost in such a crippling manner, but instead, their favorite underdog made it to the top once again but was knocked down a week later. Build to Clash of Champions- I would keep the build for the title here the same. Uso wants to have a cousinly battle with Reigns, but Reigns starts to get more aggressive. Meanwhile, Miz wants Otis’ Money in the Bank, but so does John Morrison. The match is made for a triple threat at Clash of Champions for the briefcase. Clash of Champions- Morrison wins the Money in the Bank briefcase by pinning Miz after Heavy Machinery hits a trash compactor on Miz and then Tucker turning on Otis. The Reigns Uso match goes exactly the same as it did in real life, as that match was an absolute unexpected classic. Build to Hell in a Cell- Once again, stellar build here, keep it the same. Reigns wants Uso to admit he is the tribal chief but Uso refuses leading to an I Quit Hell in a Cell match. Hell in a Cell- Once again, keep the match the same. Reigns tears Uso apart but Uso won’t quit causing other Uso to try and quit on his behalf but then Reigns gets other Uso in a guillotine causing Uso to quit. Build to Survivor Series- The WWE title is flopping back and forth between McIntyre and Orton like in real life, causing Reigns to feel like he can’t properly prepare for his match. As compensation for his frustrations, WWE management makes his contract iron clad, meaning Reigns can do anything he wants with no repercussions. McIntyre prevails as champion, setting up the two’s match for Survivor Series. Survivor Series- Reigns vs McIntyre is a brutal match, with both men exchanging offense. Reigns eventually gets the upper hand after interference from Uso (is Jimmy the one not injured? I don’t know but Vince probably doesn’t either.) Reigns hits a thunderous spear and wins the match. After the match, Reigns destroys McIntyre with a chair, causing the referee to step in and try and stop Reigns. Knowing he can’t get in trouble, Reigns picks the ref up by the armpits and sends him flying over the top rope before continuing his assault on McIntyre, eventually crushing his ankle (SPOILER: This will lead to a match between Reigns and McIntyre at WrestleMania.) Out storms the security guards, who convince Roman to go to the back. And then put comes John Morrison, who cashes in Money in the Bank and wins the WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre (I told you he’d win eventually.) Build to TLC- Right, so at first, I didn’t want Owens to challenge for the title here, but his promo work with Heyman was so good that I have reconsidered. But here, Owens is more hesitant to face Reigns, because Reigns is dangerous, he has an iron clad contract. Owens agrees to the match, but is sure to proceed with caution. TLC- Owens exhibits a great deal of caution. When Reigns sets up a table, Owens knocks it down. If Reigns sets up a ladder that isn’t under the title, Owens pushes it over. Owens realizes he is in the ring with a monster, and that he needs to stay healthy for his family. Reigns still manages to pummel Owens though, with no help from Uso. There’s this platform set up in the ring, it’s made of two ladders and a table. Owens is standing on top and he’s about to get the title down when Reigns drills him with a spear, sending him off of the platform crashing to the mat below. Reigns drags himself to the top of the ladder and retrieves the belt. He looks to inflict more damage on Owens, but Owens escapes through the crowd.

Hope you enjoyed this list. I simply cut back on Brock’s ridiculous 504 day reign in real life, ignored Oldberg, ignored The Great Khali, gave Strowman a dominant run when he was a big deal, and made the Hell in a Cell 2019 fiasco less controversial. Basically, the Universal title doesn’t exist in my timeline. Next will be my rebooking of the Intercontinental Championship. Stay tuned!
